Core Hoverboards [Manticore Games]

I got to create the model and textures for the first hoverboard mounts in Core Games. This was my first "big" task on the team, and it was both a joy and a challenge that was exactly what I needed at the time. After a series of much smaller prop work for Core Content, this was a chance to truly push my hard surface modeling skills and analyze a concept, while still balancing using pre-determined materials.
The original concepts are by Jordan Louie, and of course much general direction and help in my process here goes to my character lead John Miller, and our director Dan Fessler as well. Background setup help for this portfolio post also came together with the aide of my teammate, Austin Schut.

(Fun additional fact--in the Core Founder's set, I also did the textures for the Palamino horse.)
